Digital work using original photos feeds my textile practice. Images like these are printed on fabric to become dimensional, tangible artworks.
The behavior and natural history of snakes is one of my areas of research. This series of works, Tread on Me (2024-2025) is inspired by the Gadsden flag (1775), a historic banner from the United States meant to evoke questions about individual liberty. Images depict original photos of snakes and US national park sites.
